A study trip to Scotland awakened in Florian Stetter the vision to create a Bavarian whisky, the Bavarian Single Malt Whisky. In 1999, he began distilling whisky at the Lantenhammer Distillery and named the new brand after the historical designation of the region: SLYRS.
