Alain Milliat chose this emblematic citrus fruit to honor Corsica. Clementines have a certain roundness in taste, delicate notes, and a slight bitterness. This is what makes this juice so surprising.

This brightly orange-colored juice will captivate you with its silky texture, freshness, and special citrus aromas. Alain Milliat's Clementine juice, with 100% fruit content, is wonderfully refreshing with a few ice cubes and, topped with Prosecco, a popular aperitif.

Jus Clémentine de Corse – Juice with Protected Designation of Origin

The first clementines were planted in Corsica in 1925. Don Philippe Semidei was the first of today's 159 fruit farmers to cultivate the early-ripening, seedless citrus fruit in the mild climate of the Mediterranean island in Figareto on the east coast. Since 2007, the "Fine de Corse" clementine has held IGP status, the protected geographical indication (indication géographique protégée). The small, orange-red fruit must be grown on the island; during the harvest season between November and early January, it is hand-picked along with its leaves and packaged in Corsica without further treatment. Only then does it deserve the IGP quality guarantee.

Clementines originated from the natural hybrid cross of mandarin blossoms and orange tree pollen. Clementines grown in the mild Mediterranean climate of Corsica, in particular, have an incomparable taste of sweet and sour aromas. This special juice with a protected designation of origin is therefore not only suitable for pure enjoyment but also, for example, as a marinade for ceviche.

We recommend enjoying Alain Milliat Clementine juice from a white wine glass so that the aromas can fully develop at a cool drinking temperature of 8-12 degrees.

Alain Milliat – The Passionate One

Alain Milliat, grandson and son of a farmer, and a fruit grower himself, took over the family business in Orliénas near Lyon in 1983. For 15 years, he respectfully cared for the land entrusted to him and grew the finest fruit, especially a highly coveted cherry variety. In 1997, Maison Alain Milliat launched the project of producing high-quality juices for gourmets. Alain sent the first six juices and nectars to 60 restaurants from the Relais & Châteaux guide and eagerly awaited the sommeliers' reactions to his creations. And they were enthusiastic. This great idea allows him to adapt the textures, sugar-acid balances, and colors of his juices to the needs of the restaurants. Driven by his success with the gourmet restaurants, with whom he still collaborates today, the passionate producer continues to develop more and more juices and nectars from special, hand-picked fruits that offer unique taste experiences. Today, Alain Milliat sources his fruits from all over France and beyond, always at their optimal ripeness.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0998/4960/1350/files/alain-milliat-clementinen-saft-330ml_5ea817d7-c05d-4c0e-96a4-9692d4ac0bd5.jpg?v=1776145529
