It combines the best of both varieties in its fresh and pleasant character. On the nose, it shows delicate fruit notes of red berries and a hint of lime zest; on the palate, raspberries and strawberries reappear, complemented by vegetal notes. This South Tyrolean wine is fresh and fruity with good body and a fine melt. The juicy T Cuvée Rosé is excellent as an aperitif, but also a superb companion to light appetizers, fish, and vegetables.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCantina Tramin – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA mild, low-precipitation winter with plenty of sunshine was followed by a dry March in the 2023 wine year, with a comparatively early bud break. Although spring was rather cool and rainy, June saw alternating hot sunny days and rainfall. A hot summer and a rainy start to September demanded a lot of work from the winemakers. Fortunately, the weather gods blessed South Tyrol with a golden autumn and ideal conditions for the grape harvest. Thanks to targeted work in the vineyard, as well as the experience and care of the cooperative members of the Tramin winery, the numerous challenges of the 2023 vintage were mastered with flying colors. The white wines of the 2023 vintage are cool and delicate, captivating with their juicy freshness and crispness. The red wines, especially Pinot Noir, distinguish themselves through elegance and finesse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vines for this Cantina Tramin Cuvée grow on calcareous and stony loam soils on hillsides between 200 and 550 m above sea level. The grapes were harvested at the time of optimal physiological ripeness and brought to the winery in small containers. There, the mash is fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature (20 – 22°C), and the juice is drawn off after a short maceration period.
