On the nose, it exudes a complex fruitiness of blackcurrant, delicate sour cherry fruit, tart pomegranate, and fragrant violets. On the palate, in addition to the fruitiness, it shows aromas of chocolate, as well as fine roasted notes, a pleasant acidity, and soft tannins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWeingut Heinrich – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Blaufränkisch grapes, hand-picked from mid-September to early October 2019, come from both sides of Lake Neusiedl, from the Leitha Mountains and the Parndorf Plain. Heike and Gernot Heinrich cultivate the vineyards of Weingut Heinrich organically-biologically or biodynamically, with a lot of manual labor and care. After harvesting, the grapes remain in wooden fermentation vats and stainless steel tanks on the mash for two weeks, then gently pressed and spontaneously fermented.
