It boasts an enticing dark berry aroma and captivates the connoisseur with subtle herbal spice and a hint of cedarwood and tobacco. The residual sweetness expertly buffers the alcohol, so the wine appears neither sweet nor alcoholic. Heike and Gernot Heinrich cultivate their vineyards organically and biologically, with great manual effort and respect. After harvesting, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation and remain on the skins for two weeks in wooden fermenters and stainless steel tanks before being gently pressed.
