The grapes from small-parcel, yield-reduced vineyards (50hl\/ha) are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and quickly brought in small boxes to the newly built, impressive winery in Kurtatsch. There, according to the specifications of cellar master Erwin Carli, cold maceration takes place for 3 hours in the press.
