A whole bouquet of green fruits, such as gooseberry, kiwi, melon, and green apple, waft from the glass. As well as freshly picked mint and a hint of flint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003ePhilipp Kuhn – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vines for the Sauvignon Blanc Tradition grow on the three Laumersheim soils: limestone, loess, and gravel. The grapes from the different sites are harvested by hand at their optimal ripeness. After about two days of maceration, they are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. They remain on the lees until the following spring. This creates an elegant, crisp dry Sauvignon with pleasant acidity.
