The traditional bakery was founded in 1919 by Maria Pircher-Schwienbacher in St. Walburg in South Tyrol and has been an organic bakery since 1982. For master baker Hannes and his father Richard Schwienbacher, who unfortunately has already passed away, baking is a holistic process: the best organic ingredients from regional cultivation, traditional craftsmanship, long resting times, and baking in a stone oven are prerequisites for the best bread. Because when it comes to the quality and unique taste of their baked goods, the two make no compromises.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDue to the altitude and the associated cool microclimate, almost exclusively rye thrives in the fields in the Ultental.
