After light pressing, the grapes remain in their own juice for 12 hours to extract the aromas from the grape skin. The Weedenborn Pinot Blanc convinces with much creaminess and a fine, firm acidity structure. As with all wines from Weingut Weedenborn, this Pinot Blanc also shows a finely developed minerality. The excellent location of the vineyards on a hill in Rheinhessen, which brought a lot of wind, leading to faster drying after rain and cooling during heat, was a gift of nature last year. This, combined with a meticulous winemaker like Gesine Roll and a highly motivated team in the vineyards who could react spontaneously to weather changes, showed in the exemplary year 2024: artisanal work is rewarded with high quality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes were harvested at individually suitable times in the up to 26 individual parcels of the winery and aged separately. The aging took place partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks.
