Bartolini - Olive oil from Umbria
Frantoio Bartolini is an olive oil producer from Umbria, a region between Florence and Rome, where the Etruscans already planted olive trees and produced oil from olives. Here, in 1850, the history of Bartolini began with a small oil mill, still operated by horses.
Bartolini Olive Oil - a mixed farm with history
Bartolini is a mixed farm with history. Today, the family business, run by the 6th generation, is one of the leading organic producers in the region, which, in addition to olive oil, also breeds cattle and grows legumes and cereals. The Morailo, Leccino, and Frantoio olive varieties are harvested by hand in November and December and milled and pressed that same night at cool temperatures in their own mill. This produces a medium-bodied, fruity-fresh extra virgin olive oil.
