Scyavuru – Delicatessen from Sicily
Scyavuru is based in Ribera, on the west coast of Sicily. In the city of oranges and citrus fruits, three farmers came together to join forces and bring the authentic taste of Sicily into a jar – because Scyavuru means scent or aroma. From cultivating the fruit, to preserving it, to distributing it to partners across Europe, everything is handled by one team. Here, jams, such as Mandarino Tardivo or Arancia Rossa, preserves, including plum, and nut creams are carefully handmade.
Scyavuru – Jam and Nut Cream
What could be better than good bread for breakfast, topped with an artisan-made fruity jam or a delicate nut cream? Scyavuru makes this possible. Only as much sugar as necessary is added to the products, because the seasonally harvested fruits have developed sufficient fruit sugar in the Sicilian sun. Gentle production for maximum flavor – that is the motto of the Scyavuru collaborators.
