Cipriani Food is an internationally operating company with roots in Italy. More precisely, in Venice, because that is where Giuseppe Cipriani opened his Harry's Bar in 1931. He quickly gained a good reputation with his warm hospitality, his skill in establishing personal contacts with customers, and of course, his delicious food. Thanks to the film festival, Harry's Bar became a meeting place for big stars such as Humphrey Bogart, Hemingway, and Hitchcock.
Cipriani Food – the inventor of Carpaccio
Carpaccio was invented at Cipriani, as was the Bellini cocktail with white peach juice.
