Easton Reed is the gourmet line from Ryan's Specialties, a company that has been bringing American delicacies to Germany for over twenty years. The recipes bear the signature of Southern cuisine, but they are cooked in Europe. The motto on every label is: Crafted for the Love of Food.

Barbecue Sauces for Grill, Oven, and Pan

Eight sauces stand side-by-side in slim 260-milliliter glass bottles, covering a range that would otherwise require searching through several shelves. Dark and smoky with molasses and roasted garlic, mild and honey-sweet for wings, sweet-spicy with red chili paste, fruity with peach or raspberry, earthy with maple syrup and smoked chipotle. Plus, the ginger-teriyaki with Japanese soy sauce, which belongs more in a wok than on the grill.

Fine Pairings, Ketchup, and Honey Mustard

Alongside the sauces are the Fine Pairings in 230-gram jars, fruity companions with a high fruit content, intended for cheese boards, game, and holiday roasts. The Sweet Honey Mustard combines forty percent mustard and honey and works just as well as a dip as it does as a base for dressings. And for ketchup, Easton Reed takes its own path, with pickled bell peppers and cloves, with truffle oil, or with banana and mango.
