In 2014, Meike Grosch and Daniel Thaung swapped the Hamburg advertising industry for a few copper stills and have been roasting nuts ever since. Their Brandgut spreads – Mandelikat, Haselgenuss, Cashjuhu, Erdnussmuss – caramelize nuts with sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of sea salt, add a little sunflower oil, and nothing else. Vegan, Hamburg-made, crunchy.
