In Voiron near Grenoble, the Bonnat family has been running one of France's oldest chocolate factories since 1884. Two ingredients - cocoa and sugar - and yet more flavor depth than in most chocolate bars in the world.

From Brittany comes La Maison d’Armorine with its Salidou caramel, which accompanies every crêpe there. Gavottes bake the wafer-thin crêpes dentelles that break at the slightest bite; Traou Mad bakes the buttery galettes from Pont-Aven.
