Gandl Gingerbread
Lebzelterei Gandl in St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut region has been located on the historic market square since 1806 – today run by Barbara and Fritz Gandl. Its origins lie in an old inn in Wolfgang, from which the bakery and confectionary developed at the beginning of the 19th century. The “Original St. Wolfganger Lebkuchen” is produced with long dough fermentation, resting periods, and precise manual work for the icing and filling.
