Goulibeur – Galettes French Baking Art
French butter cookies can be so simple and delicious. It's hard to believe, but the Broyé du Poitou, traditional galettes from Goulibeur, consist of very simple ingredients such as high-quality flour, free-range eggs, plenty of good butter, powdered sugar, and fine sea salt. In addition, the family business completely refrains from using artificial colors, preservatives, and baking powder, which makes the butter cookies 100% natural.
Butter Cookies – Galettes Tradition
Since the summer of 1976, Brigitte Arnaud-Boué, owner of Goulibeur, has been making these flat-baked, crispy butter cookies based on an old family recipe from her grandmother. In the past, galettes were often baked on laundry days or field work days, but also served on special occasions, such as weddings. Today, you can easily create this special moment of indulgence with a cup of coffee or tea and Goulibeur's delicious French butter cookies.
