The Goodvines Merlot Rosé is an alcohol-free wine that impresses with its authentic rosé wine taste. It is a stylish, fruity wine alternative with typical varietal aromas of red fruits such as strawberry, cherry, blackberry, raspberry, plum, and currant, accompanied by a mildly fruity, present acidity. Lightly sparkling on the finish and with a soft texture, this alcohol-free rosé wine effortlessly accompanies grilled short ribs, poultry, fish and seafood, pasta, vegetables, and summer salads. In the glass, the alcohol-free Goodvines Merlot Rosé shines with an intense raspberry red, highlighting its red berry, fruit-driven character. Merlot Rosé – Stylish, Authentic, Alcohol-Free

In the production of Goodvines Merlot Rosé, alongside selected rosé wines from the Pfalz region, state-of-the-art technologies and the expertise of experienced wine de-alcoholizers are employed. During the so-called vacuum distillation, the alcohol contained in the wine gently evaporates in stainless steel funnels at 30° Celsius. The initially dissolved bouquet notes, i.e., the volatile but flavor-giving substances of the wine, are collected and stored separately so that the alcohol can then completely evaporate, resulting in a final product with 0.0% alcohol. The dealcoholized rosé wine is then reintroduced to its natural bouquet unchanged, which makes the authentic taste possible. To harmonize the Merlot Rosé after alcohol removal, it receives a so-called "dosage d'expédition" (French: liqueur d’expédition) consisting of grape must syrup before bottling.

Goodvines was founded in 2019 by passionate wine lovers in Heidelberg to create an alcohol-free wine alternative for everyone who wants to forgo alcohol but not authentic taste. Jörn and his brother Lars Walking purchase quality German wines in the Pfalz and Rheinhessen regions, have them gently de-alcoholized by master craftsmen under vacuum, and delight their audience with the authentic taste, even when served at Pfälzer wine festivals. The Goodvines, which means "good vines," are all high-quality wine alternatives that are completely alcohol-free. You will find no flavor enhancers, no granulated sugar, or artificial flavors, but simply pure enjoyment.
