Stork Club Rosé Rye Whiskey Aperitif – 18% vol. Alcohol
The Stork Club Rosé Rye Whiskey Aperitif from Spreewald Destillerie is probably the world's first whiskey aperitif. Here, the full fruitiness of Pinot Noir Rosé from sun-drenched vineyards in Baden meets robust Brandenburg rye whiskey. In 2020, the Rosé Rye was planned as a limited edition of their Experimental Series, but the whiskey aperitif quickly became a bestseller.
Berry notes of the rosé wine combine with spicy whiskey notes, such as sherry, dried fruit, and nuts, to create an easy-drinking, light aperitif with fantastic drinkability. Topped with soda or tonic, the Stork Club Rosé Rye Whiskey Aperitif makes for a completely new whiskey long drink that certainly doesn't care about conventions and convinces even seasoned whiskey drinkers.
With this skillful fusion of whiskey and rosé from the VDP. Weingut Markgraf von Baden, the Spreewood distillers around Bastian Heuser have succeeded in creating a great new spirit that provides full enjoyment on warm summer evenings, whether as a Sour or Manhattan.

Spreewood Distillers – Whiskey from the Spreewald
The Spreewald is not only known for Spreewald pickles, but also for the finest rye whiskey. And this is how it happened: In 2015, Berlin entrepreneurs Steffen Lohr, Sebastian Brack, and Bastian Heuser took a trip to Schlepzig to buy a whiskey cask for a client of their agency Small Big Brands at Brandenburg's oldest distillery. But the farm concept of the Römer family and their Spreewaldini distillery, with its liqueur and candy manufactory and cake bakery, so impressed them that they not only returned home with a whiskey cask, but with an entire whiskey distillery. This was rebuilt and modernized, and suddenly whiskey distilling was the order of the day in Schlepzig. Today, the Spreewood Destillerie is Germany's first rye whiskey distillery, and its whiskeys have won international awards.
