Philipp Kuhn Pinot Blanc Tradition - VDP ESTATE WINE from the Palatinate
The Philipp Kuhn Pinot Blanc Tradition 2024 is a modern, lean white wine that is enjoyable not only in the warmer months. This organic wine is lively, with a moderate alcohol content, and, true to the Pinot grape variety, it has aromas of fresh pears, dried apple, sweet melon, and walnuts. With its fresh acidity, buffered by some residual sugar, and its rather subdued bouquet, it is the ultimate food companion. The Pinot Blanc Tradition accompanies fish and meat dishes as well as vegetarian meals. It does not tolerate too much acidity and spiciness in food.
Philipp Kuhn – Winemaking
The Pinot grapes for this estate wine from the Palatinate grow in vineyards around Laumersheim, Dirmstein, and Großkarlbach and are harvested exclusively by hand at the right time. After whole cluster pressing and slow fermentation over several weeks, the Philipp Kuhn Pinot Blanc Tradition ages on the lees until bottling. Matured in stainless steel tanks, the invigorating freshness and mineral notes of the limestone and loess loam sites are preserved.
