Sauvignon Blanc Tradition 2024 - a VDP.GUTSWEIN from Philipp Kuhn
The Philipp Kuhn Sauvignon Blanc Tradition 2024 is a fresh, aromatic estate wine from Laumersheim in the Pfalz region. The aromatic grape variety Sauvignon Blanc has been on everyone's lips for a few years now. The Sauvignon Blanc Tradition from Weingut Philipp Kuhn also enjoys great popularity. A whole bouquet of green fruits, such as gooseberry, kiwi, melon, and green apple, waft from the glass. As well as freshly picked mint and a hint of flint.
Philipp Kuhn – Winemaking
The vines for the Sauvignon Blanc Tradition grow on the three Laumersheim soils: limestone, loess, and gravel. The grapes from the different sites are harvested by hand at their optimal ripeness. After about two days of maceration, they are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. They remain on the lees until the following spring. This creates an elegant, crisp dry Sauvignon with pleasant acidity. The dry Sauvignon Blanc from Philipp Kuhn accompanies light appetizers and Asian dishes, provided they are not very spicy.
