Philipp Kuhn Riesling Tradition 2024 – a VDP.GUTSWEIN not just for Riesling lovers
The Philipp Kuhn Riesling Tradition 2024 is a fresh, crisp VDP. Gutswein from Laumersheim in the Palatinate region. On the nose, it offers typical varietal notes of apple, some quince, and vineyard peach. The palate is elegant and refined, with a delicate creaminess. A wine that brings joy and perfectly accompanies light appetizers and salads, as well as light fish and meat dishes.
Philipp Kuhn – Winemaking
The vines for this uncomplicated Riesling grow on the three Laumersheim soils: limestone, loess, and quartz sand. The grapes from the different sites are harvested by hand at their optimal ripeness. After about half a day of maceration, they are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. They remain on the lees until the following spring. This creates a juicy, fine Riesling with well-integrated acidity that impresses not only Riesling lovers.
