The Castelbel Guest Soap Lavender smells as wonderfully fragrant as a lavender field in Provence. The scent of the Lavanda Ambiente series has just the right intensity, so it doesn't overpower but is perceived as very pleasant. The small purple soap bar is ideal for small washbasins or for travel.

Castelbel Porto – Tradition and Craftsmanship from Portugal

The production of natural soaps has a 300-year-old tradition in Portugal, which Castelbel began in 1999 when Aquiles Barros, a distinguished professor of chemistry and former employee of the Ach Brito soap factory, decided to create something new and of his own.

Not far from the port city of Porto in northern Portugal lies the small village of Castêlo da Maia, which was not only the company's headquarters but also its namesake: Castelbel – beautiful castle.

Initially, Castelbel produced private labels for a New York department store, and later for Galeries Lafayette in Paris. The name Castelbel remained hidden. Since 2006, the Castelbel Ambiente series (Lavender, Rose, Verbena) has existed, and its success story has continued. The wonderful room fragrances in exquisite glass diffusers, exported from Portugal all over the world, have contributed greatly to this. A year later, the exclusive Portus Cale series followed, which, with its unique Portuguese product design, has found admirers not only with us but also in Dubai, South Africa, and Japan, and delights museum guests in the restrooms of the Louvre in Paris.
