The word Azulejo comes from Arabic and means "polished little stone". The artistically painted Azulejos can be seen everywhere in Portugal – on house walls, in subway stations, in museums. A nearly endless variety of patterns and color combinations are known. It seems as if every Portuguese family has its own tile pattern.

Castelbel has printed the most beautiful ones on fine paper and used them to package unique scented soaps. Of course, a small handcrafted tile cannot be missing as a special detail. The colors orange, brown, and moss green perfectly harmonize with the soap's scent, in our opinion.
