Creme de Salidou, a caramel cream with sea salt from Guérande, is delicious on fresh white bread, dark country bread, crispy croissants, on crêpes or waffles, with yogurt or ice cream, or simply spooned straight from the jar.

Heated in a bain-marie, the Creme de Salidou caramel cream becomes more liquid and makes a great caramel sauce that tastes wonderful with ice cream.

La Maison d’Armorine – with salted butter

La Maison d'Armorine in Quiberon is one of the last gourmet paradises in Brittany. A good 70 years ago, founder Raymond Audebert, together with his wife Yvonne, invented the recipe for Salidou, the salted butter caramel. Once awarded "Best Sweets in France," this specialty is now mentioned in France's culinary heritage. The La Maison d'Armorine caramel candies are a homage to times gone by.

A true gourmet heritage that the grandson Alain Audebert, in the third generation, passionately preserves and wishes to share with all gourmets. The various caramel specialties are still produced according to ancient tradition in copper kettles. Decades of proven craftsmanship and the exclusive use of natural products such as cane sugar, sea salt from Guérande, and Breton butter are the guarantors of the unique quality of La Maison d'Armorine products, such as this Creme de Caramel au beurre salé.
