Le Jacquard Francais Tea Towel – Paris Panorama

The Le Jacquard Francais Tea Towel Paris Panorama Jardin is a green-blue tea towel made of 100% cotton. Woven using the Jacquard method, it boasts a generous size of 60x80cm and a woven label for easy hanging in your kitchen.

The French tea towel features the sights of Paris, from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre. Paris, the capital of France, is known as the City of Love. But not just because lovers like to travel to the city on the Seine, but also because around 19 million tourists annually simply fall in love with Paris. The highlight of a sightseeing tour through one of the most visited cities in the world is certainly the 324-meter-high Eiffel Tower, built in 1889 for the World's Fair, which makes the city shine especially at night. A walk takes you along the 71m wide and almost two-kilometer-long Champs-Élysées, the prestigious boulevard with restaurants and designer boutiques. Not far from the hustle and bustle, the next attraction awaits you: the world's largest triumphal arch, which Napoleon Bonaparte had built in 1806: the Arc de Triomphe. Now you drive up to the summit of the Butte Montmartre and marvel at the white Basilica of Sacré-Coeur, which houses the largest bell in France. From its steps, you have a great view of this unique city and immediately discover your next destination on the Ile de la Cité, the Gothic Cathedral of Notre-Dame, which is currently being restored. On the way there, you are drawn along countless small alleys, you stroll along the opera, the Opéra Garnier, and the old stock exchange. Once you have crossed the Pont Neuf, it is not far to Notre Dame. From the Ferris wheel on the Place de la Concorde, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of all the sights of Paris.

The Le Jacquard Francais Tea Towel Paris Panorama Jardin, which means garden, can be wonderfully washed at up to 60 degrees, so it is truly suitable for everyday use and a great help to you. To preserve the quality, you should avoid using fabric softener and drying it in the dryer, as they are made of combed cotton yarn, which makes them particularly soft and supple. The great kitchen towel with a hanger can also be used as a small tablecloth.

Weaving Art à la francaise – Tradition since 1861

The history of Le Jacquard Francais dates back to 1861, when Benjamin Baer opened a fabric trade in Gérardmer in the French Vosges mountains. In 1928, his successors, the Nathan Lévy weaving mill, expanded the business to include a bleachery, as white linen was in high demand at the time. In 1968, the company was acquired by the ELIS group, which purchased more than 50 looms for weaving Jacquard fabrics and launched the Le Jacquard Francais brand. As the quintessence of creative and technical know-how, the tea towels are woven with the utmost care in the textile factory in the Vosges and then sewn there. The products, like this Panorama Paris tea towel, are of excellent quality and are woven from 100% cotton. The combed long fibers result in a supple, very smooth, and resistant fabric. The fineness of the silky-soft yarns gives the designs unparalleled brilliance and precision.
