• Niaouli Honey from Madagascar by La Compagnie du Miel is an extraordinary honey. It is naturally creamy and reveals its complex aromas as it melts in the mouth. It then shows a taste that is hard to describe, new to our European palates. Its exotic bouquet is reminiscent of a blend of coffee and mango with lemongrass, vanilla, and liquorice. Niaouli honey, the silver medalist at the Epicures 2021, pairs wonderfully with bread and cheese, refines teas, enriches glazes for poultry or fish in savory cooking, and sweetens extravagant salad dressings.
• Rainforest Honey from La Compagnie du Miel is a unique honey from the tropical forests of Madagascar. It is a multifloral honey, the result of a harmonious blend of several varieties that grow in the lush Malagasy forests of the eastern Manakara region. The rainforest honey is creamy soft, fresh, and slightly spicy; the honey from the tropical forest shows the caramel notes of eucalyptus, complemented by the richness of the aromas of Niaouli honey.
