Mesano – the four friends' vermouth

The Kosmaten, as four friends from Stuttgart call their small company, were not members of a lodge or secret society, although in a way they were, because they passed on their knowledge and craftsmanship to like-minded people. The Kosmaten were a group active between the 12th and 14th centuries who dedicated themselves to the art of mosaic laying. In ancient Rome, their beautiful, detailed mosaics, based on ancient or Arabic models, adorned the floors of churches and palaces.

Fabian Armbruster, Tim Grieshammer, Andranik Khodjabagyan, and Simon Maisack, who met during their studies and together developed the idea of their own gin, are also detail-oriented. An oriental mosaic is characterized by the interplay of individual elements in form and color. On the Mesano Vermouth, it adorns the red and gold label, and the combination of Pinot Noir, wormwood, orange spirit, and other botanicals also fits together like one stone to another, creating a harmoniously stimulating taste profile.
