The Pasini San Giovanni Arzane 2017 is a red wine from Valtenèsi, specifically from the Riviera del Garda Classico DOC. This red wine is the true expression of the Valtenèsi microclimate. It is made exclusively from the Groppello grape variety, native to Lake Garda, which finds ideal conditions on the beautiful hills of Lombardy.

Pasini Arzane – a Cru from Groppello

The Arzane is a single-vineyard wine, a Cru made from Groppello grapes by Pasini. The grapes of this indigenous variety come from different clones in the Arzane di Picedo vineyard. Various batches of this red wine mature for two years in barriques, stainless steel, and large wooden barrels before being blended. Its ruby red color with violet reflections hints at what awaits the connoisseur: aromas of wild berries, sour cherries, and redcurrant jelly. The Pasini Arzane is round and balanced, displaying a spicy, fine, and long-lasting aftertaste. It can be enjoyed on its own but also provides an excellent accompaniment to delicious red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
