White Temple – Tea Blend with Exotic Fruits – A.C. Perchs Thehandel

Perchs White Temple Tea is an exquisite blend of green and white tea, candied fruits, and berries. An original from the A.C. Perch's Thehandel tea house in Copenhagen.

The White Temple Tea was developed with great creativity by A.C. Perchs Thehandel, and although it has often been copied, it remains unsurpassed. It is a delicious blend of green and white tea, candied fruits, and berries. It consists of noble white Mao Feng tea and white China Silvery Needle tea from China, candied pineapple, mango and papaya, orange peel, green jasmine tea, strawberries, currants, apricot and sour cherry pieces.

White Temple Tea is a full-bodied and sweet tea with fruity notes of pineapple and orange, which have a soft and rounded aftertaste. This tea can be drunk throughout the day. Enjoy Perch's White Temple Tea both hot and as iced tea during the summer.

White Temple Tea is the signature tea blend of Perch's Thehandel from Copenhagen, here the box with 10 tea bags with green and white tea. The free-flow pyramid bags offer enough space for the tea leaves to fully unfurl and thus develop their full bouquet. The pyramid bags are made from corn starch, which does not impart any flavor to the tea, but are 100 percent biodegradable. To protect the tea, each tea bag is individually aroma-protected. Both the tea bag and the small foil bag in which the bag is located are PLASTIC-FREE.

This high-quality bagged tea is a good and practical alternative to loose tea on a busy day.

Recommended preparation: 80°C water temperature – 6g/l – 6-7 minutes brewing time

flavored white tea – White Temple from Copenhagen

In the 18th century, also known as the Florissante, or flourishing period, tea from the East was an important commodity in Denmark as well. It was not uncommon for a ship's cargo of the Christianshavn-based Asiatic Company to consist of 85-90% tea. The flourishing trade in tea and other goods such as porcelain from the Far East brought prosperity to the Danish capital.

To participate in this, Niels Brock Perchs opened a small tea shop on Kronprinsensgade 5 in April 1835, which he named after his third oldest son, Axel Christian Perch. His goal was to import the best teas from all over the world and offer them to his customers. The small shop and its high-quality teas quickly became a great success, and for almost 200 years, three generations of the family business have occasionally stood behind the counter, enthusiastically selling the best tea from all over the world.

Thanks to the high quality of the exclusive teas and the serious, professional service of the tea house, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II appointed A.C. Perch's Thehandel as a royal purveyor to the court in 2002. What an honor.
