Rübbelberg Egg Liqueur – the Organic Premium Egg Liqueur from Berlin

The Rübbelberg egg liqueur comes from Berlin – young, cheeky and hip, organic and incredibly delicious. The 500ml size is just right if you passionately enjoy drinking or using egg liqueur.

Christoph, Philipp and Sebastian, the three founders of Rübbelberg, are united by a passion for the most popular of all liqueurs, egg liqueur. However, the image of the market leader and thus the product category of egg liqueur was a bit dusty, and what was available in supermarkets couldn't compare to the homemade egg liqueur of parents and grandparents. The three didn't want to accept this; instead, they wanted to help their beloved egg liqueur regain its former glory. No sooner said than done.

With the mindset "there must be a better way," the three experimented at home until they found the perfect egg liqueur recipe and were able to professionally launch in 2018. Less sugar, lots of high-quality vanilla, organic eggs, German grain spirit, a conscious omission of cream, locally produced - gluten-free, lactose-free, organic certified. And topped off with a modern, fresh design.

Enjoy this egg liqueur neat, in cocktails, with a dollop of cream, or to refine cakes and desserts.

Organic Egg Liqueur with Bourbon Vanilla

Following the classic recipe of the legendary liqueur, Rübbelberg takes a new approach and refines the recipe with real organic Bourbon vanilla. Almost an entire Bourbon vanilla bean is used in one bottle of Rübbelberg egg liqueur. The natural, mild sweetness of the vanilla allows for a reduction in the high amount of sugar typically found in egg liqueur. A splash of lime gives Rübbelberg egg liqueur a hint of sun and freshness.

All ingredients were consciously selected based on criteria of sustainability and quality. The organic eggs come from a farm in Schleswig-Holstein, the noble organic Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, and the organic grain spirit from a North German family distillery. Thus, Rübbelberg egg liqueur is not just any egg liqueur, but a premium egg liqueur made from sustainably, fairly, and humanely produced ingredients and is 100% organic.

You do not need to store the egg liqueur in the refrigerator for shelf-life reasons, not even after opening, because heating and the alcohol content make everything shelf-stable. However, we prefer it chilled. But here, your taste alone decides! After a while, the egg yolk may separate slightly from the grain spirit, forming yellow spots. However, a vigorous shaking of the bottle will mix everything well again.
