Zum heiligen Stein – the gourmet manufactory

How did a lawyer come to create his own regional ketchup? The story is quickly told. At his parents' restaurant, Zum Heiligen Stein, in Muschenheim, Hesse, the lamb bratwurst made from meat from their own sheep was particularly popular. However, the right sauce to go with it was not to be found among the many industrially produced products on the market. So Boris tinkered in the kitchen with all sorts of ingredients and developed his own ketchup. The result was a gourmet ketchup made from high-quality ingredients, which was so well received by guests that they wanted to take Zum heiligen Stein ketchup home in jars. The incredibly positive feedback encouraged Boris to hang up his law career and dedicate himself entirely to ketchup production. So, if something is to be particularly good, homemade is simply the best.
