Questions about Forest Honey [ORGANIC]?

We are happy to help you with Die Honigwanderer.

Die Honigwanderer – Organic Forest Honey – 250g

For Simon & Stefanie's forest honey, die Honigwanderer bees collect honeydew in the Welzheim Forest in Baden-Württemberg. The beehives are located at these exact coordinates: N48° 53' 11.861" E9° 44' 19.136". The forest honey is a liquid honey, dark in color and aroma. A tart, strong organic honey with slightly resinous notes for true honey lovers.

Die Honigwanderer – on the road with the bees

Their journey with around 70 bee colonies begins in mid-May. First, the acacia trees bloom in Märkische Schweiz, then the Honigwanderer move on across the Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide, into the Swabian-Franconian Forest, and finally into the Welzheim Forest. There is also food for the bees at home when the orchards of the Hersbrucker Alb are in bloom. Thus, the Honigwanderer only let their bees swarm on natural orchards and pastures, in forests and nature reserves, where nectar and honeydew are still untainted.

Forest honey from honeydew – a natural product in limited edition

From spring until late summer, the Honigwanderer travel through the blooming countryside in search of food, i.e. flower pollen or, in this case, honeydew, for their bees. Depending on the weather, e.g. due to late frost, too much or too little rain, the honey harvest varies greatly in quantity. Honey cannot simply be reproduced according to demand; it is a unique natural product in a limited edition.
