Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão, Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring good craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries. Because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy of life. With its beautiful bowls, Casa Cubista brings the love for beautiful things into your everyday life.

Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run factory in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on the potter's wheel, it is still handled, molded, sanded, and individually glazed by Rui, whose family has mastered the craft of pottery for over 200 years, with these wonderful colors, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, by his aunt Regina, among others. To preserve the shine of the glaze, we recommend washing the bowl by hand. Each bowl is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. Thus, every bowl, every plate, every jug always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are truly handmade.
