The large Casa Cubista ceramic pitcher is a beautiful carafe with wide, black stripes and a two-liter capacity. This beautiful and practical terracotta pitcher with a handle, made of high-quality stoneware, is handcrafted and glazed in Portugal for Casa Cubista. In the past, before glass became a mass-produced item, it was common to serve drinks in ceramic vessels. Today, you can use this ceramic pitcher with a handle for both cold and hot drinks. But the terracotta pitcher also looks excellent as a decoration or as a vase.

What we particularly like about the Casa Cubista collection is that the different patterns (bold stripe, dash, and ray), colors (black, tangerine, terracotta, teal, blue, and green), and sizes can be wonderfully combined. Mix and match – try it out!

Care instructions: Before first use, please wash the pitcher by hand with hot soapy water, rinse with clear water, and let it air dry. The bottom of pitchers, cups, and vases may initially sweat. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If you fill a vase or pitcher with fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This will prevent the smell of flower water from being absorbed into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão in the Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring good craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries. Because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy of life. With its beautiful pitchers, Casa Cubista brings the love of beautiful things into your everyday life.

The Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run manufactory in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on the potter's wheel, it is still handled, cast, sanded, and individually glazed by Rui, whose family has mastered pottery for over 200 years, with these great colors, which are incidentally food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, by his aunt Regina, among others. To preserve the shine of the glaze, we recommend washing the pitcher by hand. Each pitcher is unique. Small imperfections in the glaze are normal and intentional. Thus, every bowl, every plate, every pitcher always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are indeed genuine handcraft.
