The Casa Cubista Ceramic Vase is a flower vase from Portugal, hand-painted with wide turquoise and white stripes. This beautiful terracotta vase, made from high-quality earthenware, is handcrafted and glazed in Portugal for Casa Cubista. Due to its curved shape, this vase style is also known as a gourd vase.

With a diameter of approximately 12cm and a height of approximately 23cm, it's a good size for a lavish bouquet. But it also looks wonderfully decorative when "empty," as the dark turquoise-blue of the vase evokes the blue of the sea when the sun shines. Care instructions: Before first use, please hand wash the ceramic vase with hot soapy water, rinse with clear water, and let it air dry. The bottom of pitchers, mugs, and vases may initially sweat. This is normal and will diminish over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If you fill a vase or pitcher with fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the smell of flower water from soaking into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão, Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring good craftsmanship from his home country to the tables of other countries. Because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy of life. With its beautiful ceramics, Casa Cubista brings the love of beautiful things into your everyday life.

The Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run factory in the Algarve. Each vase is made on the potter's wheel and is handled by Rui, whose family has mastered pottery for over 200 years, thrown, sanded, and individually glazed with these great colors, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, by his aunt Regina, among others. To preserve the shine of the glaze, we recommend hand washing the ceramic vase. Each bowl is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intended. Thus, each vase always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are genuine handcrafted items.
