The Güde paring knife E703/6 from the Alpha series has a beautiful handle made of barrel oak. The Güde knife fits comfortably in the hand, which is thanks, among other things, to the hallmark of the Güde Alpha series, the second bolster or the forged pommel at the end of the handle, which gives Güde Alpha knives their excellent balance when cutting.

The Güde paring knife effortlessly and efficiently peels potatoes, vegetables, and fruit, as the curved, saber-shaped blade adapts to every curve during peeling and is therefore easy to guide. It really shouldn't be missing from any kitchen. Like all Güde knives, this Güde Alpha paring knife is hand-forged and hand-sharpened. The 6cm long blade made of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel is made in one piece, rust-free, and ice-hardened. The typical knife rivets are also made of rust-free stainless steel, but the palm rivet is made of non-rust-free aluminum.

The unique handle scales made of oak wood from over 80-year-old wine barrels give this knife series its special charm. We recommend cleaning high-quality knives, such as the Güde preparation knife, by hand immediately after use. A dishcloth soaked in warm water is usually sufficient. The knife is not suitable for dishwashers.

In cooperation with star chef Harald Rüssel, whose gourmet restaurant and hotel Landhaus St. Urban is located in a side valley of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region and belongs to the Nik Weis winery, Güde has created this series – not only – for wine lovers and cooking enthusiasts. This knife series received the coveted Red Dot Design Award.

Blade hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. Further processing in over 40 manual steps. The handle scales are made from the oak wood of over 80-year-old wine barrels, which has become almost indestructible due to its long maturation. Each handle scale is unique; grain and inclusions are as they are, intended, and do not constitute a reason for complaint. The blade is rust-free, ice-hardened, hand-sharpened, and not dishwasher-safe.
