Stekovics - Tomato Chutney - 200g

The Stekovics Tomato Chutney is an intensely aromatic tomato chutney. The ripe tomatoes of various old varieties are first quartered and then simmered in a copper kettle over high heat for 8 to 10 hours. It is then seasoned with sugar and salt, fruit vinegar, Indian spices, and mustard seeds. Afterward, it is strained by hand and filled into jars. The tomato chutney is excellent as a sauce for pasta, pairs well with soft cheese, grilled meat, as a dip for raw vegetables, or to enhance cream cheese or as a filling for lasagna.
