Bonnat – Chocolate Born of Passion
Chocolat Bonnat is a French chocolatier that has been producing single-origin chocolates since 1884. Bonnat was certainly one of the first to combine all steps, from raw cocoa to the finished bar, in their manufactory in Voiron, creating bean-to-bar chocolate. Stephane Bonnat, who now leads the company in its 4th generation, continues the company's philosophy with great passion. He travels the world, specifically the region between 10 degrees North and 10 degrees South latitude where cocoa grows, to find even rarer, sometimes wild-growing cocoa beans and to create unique, dark chocolates with distinct origin characteristics.
Bonnat – Chocolate without Soy Lecithin
Beyond the wonderful taste of their chocolates and their special melt, the absence of soy lecithin is what makes Bonnat chocolates stand out. Unfortunately, many chocolate manufacturers still use this additive because it is cheaper than cocoa butter. Bonnat chocolates are made without soy lecithin. Additionally, many of their chocolates are free from nut traces, making them enjoyable for those with nut allergies, and they are vegan and kosher. Bonnat chocolates have been repeatedly crowned the best chocolate in the world.
