Mussini Balsam Amaretto is a vinegar preparation, or as Mussini itself calls its newest creation, a Vinegar Bar. This mixology ingredient, based on cooked white grape must and wine vinegar, tastes reminiscent of one of Italy's most popular spirits: Amaretto.

With its almond-shell-like color and unique nutty aroma, Mussini Balsam Amaretto brings the global trend of the new non-alcoholic drinking culture into your kitchen. This vinegar preparation is perfect for making cocktails, both classic with alcohol, e.g., with rum or vodka, and in the form of a non-alcoholic cocktail – we recommend combining it with sparkling apple juice and spearmint.

Thanks to its balanced sweet and sour taste, Balsam Amaretto can also be used to create delicious dishes such as summer salads with chicken, figs, and goat cheese, or to flavor celeriac puree or sweet potato smash, or for creative desserts like fruit salad with pome fruit, Greek yogurt, and nuts.

Acetaia Mussini – Vinegar Bar Vinegar Preparation

Acetaia Mussini is a small, family-run vinegar manufacturer from the area around Modena in the Italian region of Emilia Romagna. The two cousins, Giorgio and Gabriele, continue their maternal grandmothers' tradition and produce high-quality balsamic vinegars. 15 employees oversee 15,000 wooden barrels of various sizes and produce approximately 800,000 bottles of balsamic vinegar per year.

As a modern Acetaia, Mussini combines seeming contradictions: respect for tradition and a desire to experiment with flavors. In this way, the two create a connection to the past and a vision for the future with their high-quality products. They promote local food culture and respond to the demands of their modern clientele. This is exemplified by the new Bar series, which allows one to enjoy the flavors of Italian cocktails without alcohol using a "shrup," a vinegar-based fruit syrup.

The Vinegar Bar is a synthesis of tradition, high-quality ingredients, and modern culinary art. This new concept brings fresh inspiration for the kitchen and bar, as it is both a non-alcoholic balsamic condiment with a cocktail flavor and a cocktail ingredient with a balsamic flavor.
