The stainless steel tray T4 consists of two storage surfaces that are hung on the left and right of the Thüros T4. No side table, no substructure, not for other Thüros models.
The stainless steel tray T4 measures 7 by 112 by 50 centimeters and fits exclusively with the Thüros T4. When grilling, the same thing is always missing: a surface within reach. The plate with the raw meat is on the floor, the tongs are on the edge, and the salt has been left in the kitchen.
Two surfaces instead of one
The tray consists of two parts that are hung on both sides of the grill. Together, they provide over a meter of work surface.
The division has a practical reason: the raw food goes on one side, and the cooked food on the other. Anyone who has ever placed cooked meat on the plate where raw meat was before knows why this is not a trivial matter.
Assembly without tools
The two trays are connected by two rods at the front and back and then hung on the grill. Nothing is screwed.
The whole thing can be removed again in a few minutes. For transport or winter storage, this is the difference from a permanently mounted side table.
Stainless steel V2A, wipeable
Made of non-magnetic stainless steel V2A. The surface is smooth, seamless and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
For a tray on which raw meat is placed, this is more relevant than with wood. Stainless steel absorbs nothing and can be made germ-free with dish soap. Wood cannot do that.
Why the tray is worthwhile
It is worthwhile for anyone who uses the T4 as a permanent grill station and does not put it away after every use.
It is not suitable for placing hot pots directly from the fire — the sheet metal radiates heat downwards and warps under localized stress. A coaster is also necessary here. And anyone who transports the grill often will find the tray too bulky.
Finally, space for everything else that usually ends up on the floor when grilling.
