The Thüros T1 camping grill is the smallest grill in the T-line, made of non-magnetic V2A stainless steel with a 30 x 33 centimeter grilling surface. Not a disposable grill, not a garden grill, not a solution for large gatherings.

The Thüros T1 camping grill has a 30 x 33 centimeter grilling surface and is light enough for the trunk. Grills for on the go are almost always compromises: thin sheet metal, wobbly legs, rusted through after two seasons. The T1 is an attempt to bring the same manufacturing quality as the larger models into a portable format.

The same craftsmanship as the larger models

This model is also made of non-magnetic V2A stainless steel with material number 4301, and it's consistent throughout: body, grate supports, and hooks. All sheet metal edges are turned inwards so that nothing cuts when packing.

After a few grilling evenings, the steel above the embers will show temper colors in gold and blue. This is an oxide layer, not corrosion - it does not affect the function. Anyone expecting a device that looks like new after five camping seasons will be disappointed.

What fits on 30 x 33 centimeters

Assembly takes less than a minute: insert the legs, place the charcoal tray, lay the grate. No tools are needed, and there are no screws that could get lost at a campsite.

For storage, everything folds flat again. The grill head is the largest single component, everything else can be placed inside it. Those who travel regularly will appreciate this more than any additional feature.

The surface is sufficient for two to three people. Four sausages and two steaks at the same time, or a fish in its entire length.

Our tip: Take briquettes instead of charcoal to the campsite. They burn evenly for longer, and with a small charcoal tray, replenishing during grilling is impractical. For a group of four or more people, the T1 is not suitable - then grilling will be done one after the other, and the first steak will be cold.

Even the small one is expandable

The T1 is not outside the accessory system. A wind deflector and warming rack are available in the appropriate size.

Especially when on the go, the wind deflector is the most sensible addition, because a campsite is rarely sheltered from the wind. The warming rack with 37 by 17 centimeters practically doubles the usable area without making the grill larger.
