The Faude feine Brände Williams Christ Birne is a magnificent, delicate fruit brandy classic from the home distillery in Kaiserstuhl. Master distiller Florian transforms fragrant, ripe Williams pears into a refined composition in the glass. Only fully ripe fruit of the best quality is processed into exquisite spirits at his distillery in Bötzingen, because the experienced distiller is certain: a good distillate begins with top-quality fruit. It's no coincidence that his brandies have received national and international awards, and the Williams Christ Pear is one of the regional classics in the Faude feine Brände range.

The use of hand-sorted, melt-in-your-mouth Williams pears is Florian Faude's top priority. Their aroma is delicate and not too overpowering – a pear "à point." The Williams Christ pears, undoubtedly the most popular and well-known pear variety, come from a small side valley in the southern Markgräfler Land. For Florian, they are the only option! They ensure the unique character of this modern pear brandy. Wonderful on the nose, delicate on the palate, without being fiery. The Faude feine Brände Williams Christ Pear is an elegant gift with a lasting finish for all fruit brandy enthusiasts and Black Forest fans.

Faude Williams Christ Pear – the Black Forest Classic

Florian Faude founded his home distillery in 2006 in Bötzingen, Kaiserstuhl. This was due to chance, as the farm his parents bought for the family included distillery rights. For his brandies of the highest artisanal quality, the trained winemaker sources regionally produced fruits and vegetables, as his home is one of the most fertile fruit, wine, & vegetable growing regions. Optimal ripeness, shortest transport routes, and daily fresh processing are just some of the location-specific advantages of Faude feine Brände. What the brandy should later show in the glass, the fruit must already possess. From local fruits, he distills classics such as Williams pear brandy, mirabelle plum or cherry brandy, which no distiller in the Black Forest can do without.

Brandy or Spirit – Florian explains

The difference between a brandy and a spirit lies in the production process. For a fruit brandy, a mash is made from fermented fruits and then distilled. All the alcohol in the finished brandy comes from the sugar present in the fruit, as is the case with this classic pear brandy. The brandy is then reduced to drinking strength (40% vol. alcohol) with the good, soft water of the Black Forest and bottled in the classic 500ml bottle without cold filtration, without added flavors or colorings.
