The honey gift from Neber Organic Apiary includes:

• Neber Organic Acacia Honey: Naturally, one of the most popular honeys is included in this honey gift. Acacia honey is very light and clear in color and equally delicate in aroma. It comes from the black locust tree, also called Robinia pseudoacacia, and contains the essential oil acacia, which gives the blossom honey its floral, typical scent and fine mild taste. To harvest this acacia honey, Anton Neber Honey moves his beehives to the beautiful Weinviertel, east of Vienna, at the beginning of the acacia blossom, which is usually from mid-to-late May. A bee colony collects about 7kg of good acacia honey per day. Due to its high fructose content, acacia honey crystallizes exceptionally slowly.
• Neber Organic Linden Blossom Honey: The greenish-yellow, liquid honey comes from the flower nectar of linden trees and is one of the most aromatic honey varieties in Austria. It is wonderfully aromatic, strong, and spicy, and despite its light color, not too sweet. The linden blossoms, which grow in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, are among the few blossoms that can still be visited by bees in the evening, although the bees only collect nectar when the weather is fine, as only then do the blossoms release their scent.
• Neber Organic Sunflower Honey: A blossom honey from the sunflower (Helianthus annuus), an annual cultivated plant that blooms in Lower Austria between June and September. The approximately 2-meter tall compass plant always turns its large composite flowers, which often consist of 15,000 individual florets, towards the sun. At midday, when pollination by bees takes place, the nectar has the highest sugar content of approximately 35%.
• Neber Organic Forest Honey: This honey from Austria is a strong, dark honey with a great aroma. The amber-colored honey is obtained from honeydew from the Norway spruce. Other flavor components include wild raspberry and sycamore maple. Due to its high fructose content, this honey from Austria remains liquid for a long time but still crystallizes. The harvesting regions for this honey from Austria are the Hochschwab region and the Fischbach Alps region in Styria.
