Neber Linden Blossom Honey is a greenish-yellow to pale yellow, liquid honey. It comes from the flower nectar of linden trees and is one of the most aromatic honey varieties in Austria. It is wonderfully aromatic, strong, and spicy, and despite its light color, not too sweet. The linden blossoms, which grow in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, are among the few flowers that bees can visit even in the evening, though bees only collect nectar in good weather, as the flowers only smell then.

The linden tree is the tree of life; for centuries, there was a beautiful tradition of planting a linden tree upon the birth of a child. For it to bloom, it needs loose, deep soil and sufficient water. The tree is not blessed with abundant blossoms every year, making linden blossom honey a rather rare varietal honey.
