Questions about Grape juice Sauvignon Blanc – non-alcoholic?

We are happy to help you with Cantina Kurtatsch.

Discover FLEIN Pigeon Juice Sauvignon Blanc 2024

The Flein Sauvignon Blanc is a single-varietal grape juice from South Tyrol, complex yet light-footed, a worthy alcohol-free alternative to a glass of wine. In the glass, the Sauvignon Blanc juice from Kellerei Kurtatsch is a brilliant straw yellow in color, with varietal aromas of green apple and fresh grapes, as well as notes of green pepper and lime. On the palate, it displays an exciting play of sweetness and acidity, powerful Sauvignon fruit, herbaceous hints, and invigorating freshness.

Flein Sauvignon Blanc is an aromatic non-alcoholic aperitif, accompanying pasta, Schlutzkrapfen (Tyrolean ravioli), grilled dishes, or freshwater fish, and harmonizes with a wide variety of dessert creations. Our recommendation: well-chilled in a thin-walled wine glass, the aromas of Flein juice come out particularly well.

Flein – Non-Alcoholic Enjoyment Redefined

Winery daughter Veronika Mitteregger initiated the idea for Flein in her search for a non-alcoholic counterpart to wine, and had her concept of single-varietal grape juice from early-harvested grapes, specially grown for the juice on the family winery Gross & Gross, implemented. The success was so overwhelming that Flein is now produced by three befriended wineries in the Alpine region. Each winery (Gross & Gross, Kellerei Kurtatsch, and Weingut Schmidt) is responsible for production according to a jointly developed quality charter.

Flein comes from vineyards with regionally typical grape varieties, which are cultivated specifically for juice production. The vines are cared for, and the harvest is carried out with meticulous manual labor. The harvested grapes are gently pressed like champagne. With an extraction rate of 55 percent, only the best part of the berry is refined into Flein. Bitter substances and unripe nuances are left behind. Thanks to the latest technology, the juice is pasteurized very gently. This allows Flein to develop a particularly varietal taste experience and opens up new taste dimensions. Flein surprises with freshness, elegance, and lively acidity.

100% single-varietal, 100% hand-picked, 100% natural, no artificial additives, with 0% alcohol.

Grape Juice from Kellerei Kurtatsch

Terroir connection, sustainability, and familial down-to-earthness – these are the values that drive the young and dynamic team of Kellerei Kurtatsch around Harald Cronst in the south of South Tyrol. Under the highest quality standards and with meticulous manual work, unmistakable wines and non-alcoholic Flein grape juices are created, reflecting the unique locations. Kellerei Kurtatsch refines grapes from two regionally typical grape varieties, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat, into the finest, single-varietal juices. They grow in steep vineyards specially selected for juice production in the south of South Tyrol.

Sauvignon Blanc – from Harvest to Bottle

At Kellerei Kurtatsch, particular importance is placed on environmentally friendly grape production to preserve the authentic taste of the terroir in the alpine-continental climate with Mediterranean influence. This applies not only to wine but especially to grape juice. The Sauvignon Blanc vines for this single-varietal juice of the Flein line grow on sand and gravel soils, rich in dolomite, on steep slopes between 450-500 m above sea level. For a balanced sweet-acid ratio, the correct choice of parcel and early harvest time is crucial to preserve freshness, elegance, and lively acidity. This has been achieved with bravura!
