This Pinot Gris is the result of careful harvesting and masterful winemaking. At Kellerei Kurtatsch, special emphasis is placed on environmentally friendly wine production, which preserves the authentic taste of the terroir. The Pinot Gris vines for this Pinot Grigio from the Selection line grow on loam, sand, and gravel soils, rich in dolomite on mountain slopes between 250-400 m above sea level. The grapes from small-parcel vineyards are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and quickly brought in small boxes to the newly built, impressive winery in Kurtatsch. There, they were destemmed and gently pressed according to the specifications of cellar master Erwin Carli. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, the subsequent aging took place on fine lees.
