The Burgundy vines for this white wine from the Selection line grow on light gravel soils with a high dolomite-limestone content in mountain locations between 250-400 m above sea level. The grapes from small plots of vineyards are harvested by hand at the optimal ripeness and quickly brought in small crates to the newly built, impressive winery in Kurtatsch. There, destemming and gentle pressing take place according to the specifications of cellar master Erwin Carli. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel and partly in large oak barrels, the subsequent long aging on the fine lees took place, through which the wine gains in complexity and consistency.
