We are happy to help you with Weingut Manincor.

Manincor Lieben Aich Sauvignon 2022 – a unique promise of pleasure

The Manincor Lieben Aich Sauvignon 2022 impresses with intoxicating elegance, earthy wildness, and biodynamic perfection. This single-vineyard wine from South Tyrol is a limited experience with 4,800 bottles that you shouldn't miss. Every sip of this wine is a rare delight, emphasizing its exclusivity and special character.

The exceptional quality of the Manincor Lieben Aich Sauvignon 2022 is a testament to the winery's biodynamic philosophy and its respectful approach to nature. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this wine are grown on the southwest slopes of Terlan, a region known for its mild and airy microclimate and its mineral-rich soils of sandy loam and weathered porphyry.

The Manincor Lieben Aich Sauvignon 2022 is characterized by its intense fruit aromas, palpable minerality, and perfectly balanced structure. An outstanding wine for special occasions.

A limited single-vineyard wine for special moments

Diversity and Terroir: The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc come from the single vineyard Lieben Aich, known for its porous soils with high mineral content. The special care that goes into biodynamic cultivation is reflected in every aspect of the wine.

Production and Storage: After careful hand-picking in September, the grapes are destemmed, and the juice is macerated with the solid components for twelve hours to extract maximum aromas. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in oak barrels, followed by ten months of aging on the fine lees, which contributes to the wine's complexity and depth.

Long-term drinking maturity: Manincor Lieben Aich Sauvignon 2022 has very good aging potential and develops even more intense aromas over the years. Optimized for storage, the wine reaches its optimal drinking maturity between 2024 and 2034, making it a valuable addition to any wine collection.

Serving suggestion: This Sauvignon Blanc is particularly delicious in combination with shellfish, grilled seafood, and white meat. The recommended serving temperature is between 11-13 °C, ideally in Burgundy glasses. In its youth, decanting can further develop the aroma.

Why this South Tyrolean wine promises pleasure for all senses

  • Unique aromas: The wine presents itself as wild and untamed, with intense aromas of tropical fruits such as mango, papaya, and passion fruit, complemented by mineral notes, a juicy acidity, and a long, stony finish.

  • Biodynamic cultivation: The vines for this wine grow under biodynamic conditions on a southwest-facing slope in Terlan, 300 meters above sea level. Biodynamics not only promotes soil quality and vine resilience but also improves the quality and taste of the wine.

  • Sustainability as a principle: This white wine from the "Krone" wine line (wines from grapes from old vineyards, carefully selected, of uncompromising quality) embodies Manincor's biodynamic philosophy, which is reflected in its vegan certification and the Respekt-BIODYN seal, a testament to harmony with nature.
  • Ideal for discerning wine drinkers: With its complex structure and ripe fruit profile on the finish, this wine offers a special experience for connoisseurs and lovers of unique Sauvignon Blancs.

  • Long-term drinking maturity: Optimized for storage, the wine reaches its optimal drinking maturity between 2024 and 2034, making it a valuable addition to any wine collection.
