Manincor Moscato Giallo 2024 – a luminous temptation

South Tyrolean sun in a glass: The Manincor Moscato Giallo 2024 from South Tyrol shines in a lively golden yellow and seduces with its delicate aromas of nutmeg, cedar wood, and grapefruit. The fruity, juicy, and mineral notes of the Goldmuskateller make it an exquisite pleasure with a lasting aroma.

The Moscato is a noble white wine that captivates with its pronounced aroma spectrum and radiant color. Ideal for connoisseurs and lovers of fruity and elegant white wines.

A Moscato that inspires enthusiasm

Harmony and challenge: The immense pressure from downy mildew and powdery mildew due to the rainy months of May, June, and July was brought under control through biodynamic working methods and years of experience. Short, hot phases in July and August seamlessly transitioned into a harvest of healthy grapes in beautiful autumn weather. The result is a wine with nerve, tension, crisp acidity, and moderate alcohol.

Location and terroir: Moscato Giallo, Goldmuskateller, grown on the sun-drenched slopes of Mareit Leiten and Vogelleiten, thrives on warm gravel soils with moraine deposits and loamy calcareous gravel. The steep south-facing slopes and the ideal climate of warm days and cool nights in autumn contribute to the development of its unique aromas.

Focus on sustainability: The Moscato Giallo is not only a delight for the palate but is also produced biodynamically and vegan according to the strict Respekt-BIODYN guidelines. This emphasizes the character of the terroir and promotes sustainability and biodiversity. This reflects the philosophy of the Manincor winery, which is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly wine production.

Vinification and maturation: The Moscato Giallo is carefully hand-picked, and the grape berries remain in the press for twelve hours for maceration to extract the aromatic and structural properties from the grape skins. Fermentation takes place in both wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, predominantly with the grapes' own yeasts, followed by five months of aging on the fine lees, which further refines the taste profiles of the Goldmuskateller.

Perfect as an aperitif or with exotic dishes: This white wine is an excellent refreshing aperitif and an excellent companion to spicy Asian dishes or aged hard cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 10 °C, which brings out the fine aromas of the wine optimally.

Why this South Tyrolean wine promises enjoyment for all senses

  • Vibrant aromas: The intense aromas of nutmeg and citrus fruits set fruity accents.
  • Mineral elegance: Its mineral components give it an elegant structure.
  • Perfect ripeness: Thanks to an ideal balance of physiological ripeness, sugar content, and acidity in the 2024 vintage, this white wine is characterized by ripe fruit, a cool character, and moderate alcohol content.
  • Versatile enjoyment: Perfect as an aperitif, with Asian dishes, or strong hard cheese.
  • Biodynamic quality: Fully biodynamically certified, this wine embodies the winery's commitment to sustainable cultivation and production methods, with the natural expression of the terroir taking center stage.
  • Sustainability as a principle: The wine embodies Manincor's biodynamic philosophy, which is reflected in the vegan certification and the Respekt-BIODYN seal, a testament to harmony with nature.
